What We Believe
We hold to the historic Christian faith. Here's what that means in plain language.
Scripture
The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. It is sufficient for faith and life. We read it, teach it, and submit to it.
God
One God, eternally existing in three persons. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Creator of all things.
Jesus Christ
Fully God. Fully man. Born of the Virgin Mary. Lived without sin. Crucified for our sins. Buried. Risen on the third day. Ascended to the Father. Coming again.
Salvation
By grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Not earned. Not inherited. Received through repentance and trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
The Holy Spirit
Present and active. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowers the Church, and distributes gifts for the building up of the body of Christ. We welcome the fullness of the Spirit and the operation of all spiritual gifts.
The Church
The universal body of Christ, made up of all who trust in Him. We are part of that body. Not an alternative to it. Not a replacement for it.
Baptism
An outward declaration of an inward faith. We practice baptism by immersion as an act of obedience and identification with the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Communion
A regular remembrance of the body and blood of Christ given for us. We practice it together as a community.
The Mission
The whole Church taking the whole Gospel to the whole world. We exist to make disciples, not to build an institution.
Be part of what's starting.
We're building a gathering around dinner, worship, and real community. If that sounds like something you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
